• Design, develop, test, support solutions to automate processes through RPA, scripting, Desktop Automation (eg VBS, Google AppScript, SAP Script, Looker Studio , Winshuttle ) and enhanced workflow automation platforms.

• Be the go-to-person for all technical questions on the implementation and operations of automation processes, especially bring the technical judgment to table when it comes to select the best tool for a use case

• Operate the automation solutions and have an open ear for suggestions of the process owners

• Embrace new ways of working with fast iterations, lean documentation and planning, close alignment to our colleagues from business and IT and close communication across global teams

• Collaborate in an agile and cross-functional team with other Automation Experts, Lean Sixsigma Experts, and Process Mining Experts to blend various fields and technologies such as: Business Process Mining, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Project Management, and more, so our Roche peers and patients receive the best solutions

• Partner closely with Global Product Owners, developers and Portfolio Managers and boost cross-regional collaboration and leverage existing solutions.

• Transition and maintain automations in production, as required.

• Lead implementations with regional and/or global teams

Who you are

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or technical field or equivalent experience in the area of Automation

• 2+ year of experience developing solutions in at least 1 of the following technologies/platforms:

• UiPath or similar

• Programing languages (eg JavaScript, Node.JS, dot net, VBA/VBS., Google App Script, SAP Scripting, python)

• 5+ years experience in business-facing IT role, or business/process analytics role

• Experience in agile organizations and Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc

• Experience working in a self-managed team environment, familiarity with OKRs is a plus.

• Experience working with DialogFlow, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS, Yellow Messenger is a plus.
