Manager- Automation Factory - Intelligent Automation Developer

Job Description

  • The GBS Digital Factory is the digital transformation engine for PepsiCo that sits within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. It focuses on the re-imagination and digitization of capabilities, processes, services, and reporting for the Enterprise through the design, development, and deployment of digital products and solutions, having a direct impact to the overall PepsiCo PL.
  • As an Intelligent Automation Developer, you will be collaborating with other Developers to execute the design, development, testing, and delivery of automation and cognitive end-to-end processes leveraging next generation technologies (e.g., RPA, Cognitive / AI, Optical Character Recognition, Intelligent Character Recognition, Content Translation and Computer Vision).

Accountabilitie s:

  • Consults with business stakeholders, Product Designers and other developers within the GBS Digital Factory to understand the current state process, business requirements and business goals
  • Execute the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions, including attended and unattended bots (e.g., using UiPath), configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles in an efficient manner
  • Execute development of test scripts for digital products and play an active role in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Execute the maintenance of proper documentation (Process Design and Solution Design Documents - PDD, SDD) for the solutions, test procedures and scenarios using UAT and production phase
  • Consult with Enterprise Technology teams during code review sessions to validate code and receive approvals
  • Consult with other developers and development leads teams to support production deployment efforts for digital products
  • Execute on all data cleansing and validation activities prior to kick-off on development activities by the rest of the team
  • Consult with senior Intelligent Automation developers to align on design choices for digital products, establish the technical vision, and analyze tradeoffs between usability, functionality, and performance needs
  • Execute the creation of training manuals for business users regarding digital product operation and troubleshooting
  • Execute surveillance of digital products for KPIs, breaks, and defects and perform maintenance as required within the defined SLAs
  • Consult with Intelligent Automation Lead to implement design and development standards for the GBS Digital Factory

Qualifications

Keyskills/Experience required:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related field preferred
  • 7-9 years overall experience; 3+ years professional experience working directly on the design and development of intelligent automation solutions; 3+ years of experience building large scale automation solutions and maintaining data repositories
  • Experience handling and transforming big data using data management tools (e.g., SQL)
  • Certification and experience with various intelligent automation tools (e.g., UiPath)
  • Experience with coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript. OpenCV) and next generation technologies (i.e., AI, ML, OCR, VR, Computer Vision / Image Processing, Deep Learning tools techniques)
  • Experience with agile development methodology (i.e., Safe Agile)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and cloud-specific PaaS and SaaS solutions)
Experience / involvement in organization wide digital transformations preferred
