5+ years of overall hands-on experience proven experience in writing complex stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
Experience in handling large volume of data with server/client-side coding , along with good knowledge of cursors and advanced bulk collection concepts.
Experience in monitoring and performance tuning of databases on Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid)
Proven experience in remediating the server/client-side code migrating enterprise level database from On-premise to On-premise /Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid)
Experience in heterogenous database migration (Sqlserver to PostgreSQL/ MySQL, Sybase to SQL Server, Oracle to PostgreSQL, etc.). Well-versed in all data-types, and data-type conversion.
Strong experience in writing SQL queries, with hands on exp of performance tuning, ensuring the stability, reliability, performance of the DB, and handling DB drivers/linked servers.
Maintaining data quality data security - encryption at-rest in-transit, hashing, masking, integrity constraints.
Participates in or leads a database migration team supporting one or more application projects which must be migrated from on-premise to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environment.
Works collaboratively with the application team, including architects, developers, DBA and testers to ensure project success.
Good knowledge in creating and managing database schemas and schema objects like tables, indexes, partitions and dictionaries.
Should be able to understand complex business requirements and existing relational data models, and archive methods.
