They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. What you’ll achieve
As a Sr. Software System Engineer, you will be responsible for the production and engineering interfacing systems. Youll gain extensive experience with high-end storage, network and virtualization solutions. You will work with IT professionals globally, supporting groups of engineers from different storage divisions

You will:

Installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users

Essential Requirements

• VMware infrastructure
• Networking: Dell, Cisco, Arista & Brocade
• Linux administration and Shell scripting: Oracle, RedHat, CentOS, SLES & Ubuntu
• Docker / Kubernetes / Tanzu
• Orchestration technology: Ansible / Jenkins / Spacewalk

Desirable Requirements

• Ability to automate activities using Python
• Monitoring tools: Nagios, SolarWinds & Grafana
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and PowerShell
